The last time I knitted a Buninyong scarf it was popular! In fact, I had quite a few requests to make them!!  However, the lucky winner was my Mum. It was recently Mum’s birthday and she said she would love to have a scarf. So, what is a good Daughter to do ……
The Buninyong Scarf is a free pattern by Georgie Hallam of Tikkiknits.  It is a lovely lace pattern that is not that difficult to do and would be suitable for your first try at knitting lace.
The yarn Mum chose is Luxury by Bendigo Woollen Mills, a really lovely 10ply/worsted 100% wool. It is incredibly soft and springy and gives fantastic stitch definition.  Cream is the colour of choice.

Mum loved it! I did too and I almost didn’t hand it over, but since I am a good Daughter …… Lol!!!

Every year Mum has a special birthday celebration with her Friends of many years and this year She chose to wear her new birthday lace scarf.
Until next time, happy quilting, knitting, sewing, crocheting and crafting ….
