Firstly, a big hello and welcome to all those who have joined me since the Stitches and Craft Show at Caulfield recently. It was wonderful to meet you all, have a chat and share my enthusiasm with you for what I do. I hope over time you find things here at Sew Well Maide that interest you and that sing to your creative soul!
On that note, I wanted to let you all know the details of my last beginner’s crochet class for this year. I love teaching at Cotton Factory in Ballarat. It is light and bright and roomy and the lunches provided by Alison are sooooo yummy! Unbelievably, this will be my fifth beginners crochet class there in the last four months with over 40 new crochet enthusiasts joining the yarny creative ranks! Crochet is definitely a ‘happening’ and ‘now’ craft and a lot of folk want in on the action! The class makes the assumption you have never held a hook before and ‘lefties’ are most welcome. You will go home knowing how to create the humble, yet ever popular, granny square.
So, let’s get to the nitty gritty:
When: Saturday 15th November
Time: 10am – 3pm
Where: Cotton Factory, 128 Clyde Street, Ballarat
Cost: $90 (includes tea and coffee, lunch, yarn, hook, notes)
You can book here.
I hope to see you soon!Until next time, happy sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting and crafting ....
